What to see in Benidorm?

As we have already mentioned, in Benidorm there is a great variety of incredible touristic possibilities. The follwoing are some of the attractions that you should visit during your stay in Benidorm.

Visit the l'Aigüera Park

This park is a distinctive feature of Benidorm, it has 2 Roman style auditoriums that are connected by a 300 meters long vegetated promenade. The park ends at the town hall, also a very particular building that you should visit.
In this auditorium, the world famous "Festival Internacional de la Canción de Benidorm" (Benidorm International Song Festival) used to be held since the end of the 50s.

The "Paseo Marítimo" and the "Balcón del Mediterráneo"

Benidorm has 2 beaches, the Levante and the Poniente. The Levante is the beach with more "life" as the promenade is full of establishments with live music, ice cream stands, bars, pubs and other entertainment. There are endless possibilities according to your preferences.
On the other hand, the Poniente beach is more tranquil, larger in terms of length and width of the beach itself and is ideal for sunbathing.
These 2 beaches are separated by a viewpoint called The Mediterranean Balcony, a place you must visit to contemplate the splendor of both beaches from a single location.

Visit the "Plaza Mayor"

This square, despite not being very big, is very busy all day long. It is characterized by its stores and adjoining bars and of course, by the magic and charm of its architecture.
In the "Plaza Mayor" in Benidorm you will find two very well known restaurants, the "Mesón Plaza Mayor", with very good reviews on Tripadvisor, and "La Mejillonera", which is located on one side of the entrance to it and that is definitely going to surprise you.
